More remodeling and new construction happening! A whole second story has been added to this house located @ 7083 Lion Drive.

SILVER SNEAKERS

Our own local resident, Larry Helkema, directs the "Silver Sneakers" program at the Nashville YMCA every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The program is free for residents aged 65 and over.

LAKES FREEZE OVER

Both Cordry and Sweetwater have been frozen over except for large areas at each dam. Finally, on Friday night, January 21st, both lakes froze over completely. A flock of geese in the middle of Cordry have a small hole open and a flock of geese and the two swans have an open hole at the beach on Sweetwater.

ELECTION RESULTS

The votes are in and tallied! Quinn Heatherington from area 3 was re-elected to a seat on the board and Francis Gantner from area 7 was elected to a seat on the board.
A lengthy meeting beginning at 1:00 was held. Reports from different commissions were read. CSCD Board Officers are Jerry Fenwick-chairperson, Larry Kolar-vice chairperson, Quinn Heatherington-Secretary.

NEW CONSTRUCTION

New construction continues at several locations around the lakes. This unit is at SW 193 on Lemur Drive. An old structure was removed and new house is taking shape.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Several friends and I rung in 2011 by water skiing on New Year's Day at the Arch in St. Louis on the Mississippi River. The Misouri Disabled Water Ski Association sponsors a Polar Bear Water Ski Fundraiser each New Year's Day.
