CSCD MEETING HIGHLIGHTS
There were a few fireworks at the May 20th CSCD meeting over the subject of a "resident." This probably came about due to the recent resignation of Kathy Byers from the CSCD Board of Directors and her potential replacement. Bottom line.....Pat Sherman of Hummingbird Drive was voted to fill the remaining months of Kathy's term until elections are held next January. Congratulations to Pat who is an experienced business person out of Greenwood. In other agenda items, the "idle time lights" have been set to 8:00 PM for the rest of the summer and we are waiting for one more quote for concrete work to start work on the basketball court.

LAKE LEVELS
There's always been discussions and opinions about the water levels in both Cordry and Sweetwater Lakes. Let's put rumors to rest!!! CKW Surveyors have recently completed some survey work including the elevations of the two spillways. The two spillways on both lakes are at the exact same level. Back in history, there were plans to join the two lakes with a canal or a third lake but financial issues came into play and the work never got completed.
COMMUNITY TRASH PICK-UP
Approximately 20 volunteers gathered together on Saturday, May 9th and picked up trash along Nineveh Road to the Brown County Line. There were some interesting articles that appeared on the trash truck including a tire or two, other auto parts, etc. It was a dirty buggy job! Special thanks to three deputies for traffic control and Josh Hawley of the conservancy for picking up the trash bags. Don't forget organizer Carie Vavul! Job well done!!!
