BORING THE WATER MAINS
Progress on the installation of the new water main continues on schedule. The final "boring" section was completed this week when the company bored underneath the Cordry Sweetwater stone wall entrance. Now that the boring sections are complete, the main lines along Nineveh Road will be "dug" using conventional methods.
PITCH IN AND HELP EACH OTHER
Employees at the Cordry Sweetwater Conservancy Office sometimes go way beyond their job descriptions. Nick and Stacey at the office were caught hooking up the pick-up truck to the patrol boat trailer in preparation of launching the Cordry patrol boat.

GRADING THE FIELD
SRS DREDGING appeared today to level out the field across from the beach. This area was the deposit area for spoils from the dredging on Sweetwater and Cordry for the past 5 years. Now that era has passed and living up to the contract, SRS is back grading and seeding the field. What has been a bit of an eye sore for the past few years will now be a nice green field.

ROAD CLEAN UP FUN
The Nineveh Road Clean Up had the best turn out ever in spite of a chilly morning. The CSCD supplied Josh and son with truck to haul the bagged trash. The CSLOA opened the clubhouse for pre collection warm ups and apre' clean up get together with refreshments. In approximately 2 hours the job was done. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped.
