Sweetwater Lake is completely frozen/skimmed over as of today. Cordry Lake is also frozen/skimmed over except an area at the end of Hackberry Drive where the ducks and geese have kept a pool open. Main Roads are in good condition and side roads are open but turn around areas are not available.
This time, the weather forecast was correct! The southern half of Indiana received approximately 12 inches of snow! The roads crew has worked for over 2 days to keep the roads open. Schools and mail will not happen for a few days.
A recent hot topic in the Conservancy was the use of the Sweetwater Beach Shelter. After much y, the Board passed a set of rules governing the Shelter. Occupancy limits of 106 will be in effect. Some other conditions also apply including no outside advertising of events held at the beach and beach shelter, only free holders will be permitted to rent the shelter, etc. Contact the Conservancy Office for all of the rules.

The annual elections results for the conservancy were held on Saturday, January 10th at the CSLOA Clubhouse. The winner for area #2 was Sheena Johnson and the winner for area #6 was Mark Rasdall.. Their term is for 3 years. Congratulations to both.
