CHAINSAW COWBOYS

I happened onto the Chainsaw Cowboys today next door to the IGA Grocery Store in Nashville. I couldn't believe the artistic talent this father and sons are displaying at their business site. Owls, horses, bears, benches, signs, and more. Give them a visit!

CRAZY TREE CLIMBER!

Local Tree Arborist Nathan Lane (aka tree monkey) is pictured in the top of the dead oak tree! Several oak trees had died due to a fire several years ago. The trees were between two close houses and nearly impossible to remove. Nathan in cooperation with Muck Crane out of Edinburgh are working together to lift the tree parts out to safer ground.

STORAGE BUILDING REHAB

Who could believe that someone could take that dilapidated 3 sided storage unit and turn it into an attractive enclosed storage building? Rodney Gunter of GP Construction is doing the magic! Much of the Conservancy's tools and equipment will be moved into this building during the construction of a new maintenance/office building.

SURE SIGNS OF SPRING

A sure sign of Spring is the return of the Martins. Other migratory birds have been passing through. Several Loons are on both lakes along with groups of coots.

YOGA AND AEROBICS

Don't be bashful! Aerobics and Yoga at the CSLOA Clubhouse is for everyone! There's already a mixture of fellows and ladies taking advantage of the program. Yoga is on Tuesdays and Thursdays @ 8:45 AM and Light Aerobics is on Wednesdays at 8:45 AM.

ANNUAL FIRE DEPARTMENT GARAGE SALE

The annual Cordry Sweetwater Fire Department Garage Sale will be Saturday, April 27th, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Residents may drop off items on April 13,20th between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Personnel will also be available during these times to pick up items. Call 317-933-2224 to make arrangements. This is the "Social Event" of the spring!
