FULL HOUSE

It was a full house at the CSLOA Spaghetti Dinner tonight. Every table and chair was filled. Not only spaghetti but salad and bread sticks and great desserts! Next event is game night.

FREE SPAGHETTI DINNER

Remember the Free Spaghetti Dinner this Saturday the 14th. Begins at 5:00 PM. Bring a dessert. Plan ahead.....commit early and send a response on facebook.

WINDY!

High winds in the area are blowing the leaves out of the woods and also the sticks out of the trees! The entrance to Bass Drive was blocked today by a huge dead tree blown down across the entrance. Officers McGaha and Green were earning a little "extra credit" by helping pick up limbs and debris as more help was arriving.

CHRISTMAS GUESTS

This group of Hooded Mergansers were visiting during Christmas Day. Unlike ducks and geese, they feed on fish. They were busy diving on the north end of Sweetwater today.

My neighbors across the lake have "put out the stars!" Mr. and Mrs. Andrew on Cardinal Drive.

CORDRY LAKE SWANS

While out boating and water skiing today, a bevy of white swans flew in and landed on Cordry Lake. I drove by later this evening and they were still there near the dam.
