CANDID CAMERA

At last week's CSCD meeting, the security commission presented a program for installing security cameras at strategic locations around the conservancy. Locations might include the entrances, boat ramps, gas pumps, basketball courts, etc. The security cameras could be monitered by the officers on computers in their patrol units. The CSCD board asked the security commission to do some more research for future consideration.

BOAT STICKERS

New Boat Stickers for 2010 must be displayed by June 1st, 2010. This is a change from past years. The past year's stickers will continue to be valid until June 1st, 2010. So....the spring rush to obtain new stickers can be avoided. Stickers are good for a 2-year period. Sticker Fees: Speedboats-$70, Pontoon boats-$70, Fishing boats-$35, Non Motorized boats $7.50.

SWANS

Mr. and Mrs. Swan continue to keep a small hole open even in the most severe weather. Presently they have a swimming hole open at the end of Raccoon Drive across from Sweetwater Beach.

SNOW!

Snow and more snow! The Road Crews have worked overtime to keep our roads open. John Collins and his crew have done a superb job. The lakes remain snow covered and frozen over. It appears that we have 14 inches of snow by the ruler in the picture!
