FAST TIMES AT CORDRY/SWEETWATER

At the Tuesday CSCD Meeting, the topic of the yellow light times was "fine tuned." The Green light will turn on at 10:00 AM as in the past years. At the end of the day the Yellow light will turn on at 8:00 PM each day during the summer. Rather than the "hour before sunset" rule that has been practiced in the past. This rule will allow approximately the same amount of time for speed boating times but give a uniform time for the evening yellow light throughout the summer months. In other business, contracts for Cordry Lake dredging and boat ramp construction were awarded.

MR. EAGLE

Happened to notice Mr. Eagle having breakfast this morning across the lake in front yard of Mr. and Mrs. Andrews on the north end of Sweetwater.

BOAT LAUNCH RAMPS

The CSCD advertised for bids for both Cordry Lake and Sweetwater Lake boat launch ramps recently. Bids were opened on Wednesday, May 8th from two different companies. If the CSCD accepts either bid at their May meeting, construction will probably not occur until August/September due to material orders, material delivery etc.
