PARK AT THE "Y"


The Cordry Sweetwater Lot Owners are interested in making some improvements at the park area located by the fire station at the "Y." With the permission of the CSCD, they have hired a landscape architect to draw up some suggestions.

The annual Cordry Sweetwater Fire Department Garage Sale drew a huge crowd on the rainy April 23rd Saturday.

CSCD MEETING


The following topics and more were discussed at the CSCD Board of Dirctors meeting held on April 19th. Buoys for lakes, boat length rule, cameras for boat ramps, environmental study for north end of Sweetwater, mowing of dams ($7,500 for 2 mowings), Sweetwater boat ramp repair, gravel bids for roads, paving plans, CSLOA contract with landscape architect for park area, expansion of clubhouse at beach, construction of decks near shorelines.

BOAT LENGTH DECISION


The Cordry Sweetwater (CSCD) Board of Directors addressed the boat length issue this evening. In the end, they tabled making a decision until one more public meeting/presentation. Watch this site for the date...those persons interested need to attend this future public meeting.

BOAT LENGTH COMITTEE REPEAT


The boat length committee will once again make their presentation to the Security Commission on Tuesday evening, April 12th, at 7:30 PM. Much research has been accomplished and recommendations will be made to the commission to consider. Any interested parties are encouraged to attend.

FISHING CONTEST WINNER


Local "fishing legend" Chris Kaiser (Grandson of Nancy and Bob Green on Opossum Drive) Recently won the College Fishing Tournament held on Kentucky Lake. You can go to www.collegefishing.com to see a picture of Chris and fishing partner Ryan holding their $10,000 check. Chris, a sophomore at Purdue, also won this tournament in 2010.
