NEW CONSTRUCTION

I was out on the lake today.  It was hard not to notice some new construction going on.  Two large homes going up on Sweetwater Lake.  One on Jay Circle and one on Duck Drive.

JANUARY WATER SKIING

Just a few days ago, both lakes were frozen over on the north ends and some of the coves.  Today, the sun was out and most of the ice had disappeared.  Put a boat in and did some water skiing.

BOTTOM OF THE DOCKS!

The recent rains of Friday and Saturday brought both lakes up above normal pool level.  Both Sweetwater and Cordry Lakes came up to the bottoms of docks but in most cases not over the tops of docks.  The north end of both lakes has a muddy appearance.  Salt Creek south of the lakes area flooded out of the banks in several locations.
