WATER CLARITY TESTING

Each summer for water clarity testing is done every few weeks with the results being sent to the Indiana Clean Lakes program at Indiana University. The test is simply dropping a black and white disc into the water and recording how deep it goes before it disappears. Frequent depth readings are usually around the 20 foot mark in the spring and fall and less that 20 feet in mid sum
mer.
