WINTER HAS ARRIVED!

The weatherman predicted doom and gloom for this weekend.  We experienced lots of rain on Saturday with snow arriving Saturday night.  Some winds blew and evidently got a hold of this pontoon on Sweetwater now on the shoreline of the dam.

WINTER WATER SKIERS

The unusual warm and mild weather encouraged some local water skiers to hit the waters on both Saturday and Sunday on Sweetwater Lake.  Resident Tony Elmes and guest skied on Saturday while former resident Dan Federspill skied on Sunday. 

DIRTY JOBS

Being an employee of the CSCD sometimes more times than not, involves dirty jobs!  Today's dirty job was the removal of a dead deer from the north end of Sweetwater Lake.  The deer appeared not be victim of a hunt situation.  Thanks to the CSCD employees.

DEER REDUCTION COMPLETED

The deer reduction program has ended for 2018.  The professionally administered program allowed bow hunting on designated properties of property owners by written permission.  Each deer was examined and recorded by the program administrator.  The official count was 65 deer.

ULTRA MODERN

Not to be outdone with some of the new houses on Sweetwater,  this ultra modern home is under construction on Gensing Drive.

OUT WITH OLD-IN WITH NEW

The old house on Chipmunk is gone and the new house in its place is up and taking shape.

TEAR DOWN!

Looks like there's going to be  a new house at 6821 Eagle Drive located on the main body of Sweetwater Lake.  The old structure is completely gone except for a one car garage.
