SURPRISE SNOW!
Friday afternoon brought the most significant snow of the winter season. Perhaps 3-4 inches of snow were dumped in a short amount of time causing many "slide offs" and wrecks around central Indiana.

TIME TO WATER SKI
The ice is gone as of today. Temperature in the 50's. Sunny and no wind. Time to Water Ski.

SOLID ICE!
Sweetwater Lake is completely iced over. Below 0 temperatures overnight finally got the job done. It probably won't last long as warm temperatures are predicted for the coming week.

WINTER HAS ARRIVED!
Winter has officially arrived! One (1) degree outside this morning! The coves are freezing over! Fresh layer of snow on the ground this morning!

NEW CSCD BOARD MEMBERS
It was a cold windy day as the annual January CSCD Board meeting began at 1:00 PM. The election count was not finished until 3:45 pm. At that time, the official board meeting began. The first item on the agenda was the election results. A record 373 votes were cast with only 21 votes in question. Jim Maulden with 225 votes won his area seat defeating Scott Casey with 146 votes. Randy Brumfield won his area with 193 votes defeating Cathy Brown with 124 votes and Denise Coudill with 56 votes. Hats off to all who participated.
